Today we worked in the morning and enjoyed the rest of the day off in Almaty to explore! We visited the Green Bazaar, the Almaty Central Mosque, the Ascension Cathedral, really unique restaurants, and climbed utop Trans-Ili Alatau mountains where we got to get a tour of two observatories at the Kamenskoye Plato Observatory.
